CADS Elect new President , publish 3rd edition of departmental newspaper.

Elections and newspaper distribution preparations

Students in the department of communication and development studies have elected a new government that will be at the helm of their activities. The election took place under the ospieces of the head of department, Prof Akoko Robert and the incumbent president.


Yufonyuy Princely has been elected  president to top the affairs of students in the department in close collaboration with the administration taking over from Edwin Ajimsimbom. the election that took PBA 08, saw students from all levelsl  present to listen to the manifestos of the incoming government and had to asks questions for better clarification before electing.

The students voted using the secret ballot method  ,but picking either  "YES" or " NO". Coordinated by the faculty president Yuin Job and the incumbent president, the results were in favor of the only party present which was the green party.

Election process 

 The election process equally doubles as the publishing and distribution of the 3rd edition of the UBa Voice newspaper to students. This activity is to help students gain hands on experience in advertising, marketing and boost their persuasion power. 

Talking to Ngam Belinda who has completed  sales she says "it was an exciting moment for her to sell her department though it was stressful, I was able to complete the sales today".

This distribution of the newspaper continues tomorrow for students to sell their department and a product of their education to people from diversed backgrounds.
