The Dean of the Faculty of Arts Prof Canute Ngwa has said that elections into the executive bureau of the faculty of Arts student association will take place on Wednesday 13th December at 10am in the faculty boardroom.
In a release signed by the Dean, he highlights that interested candidates vying for the post must attain the eligibility criteria according to the rules and regulations governing the election of student association executive bureau of the University one of which is: the student must have at least 2.4GPA from previous academic records
After qualifying for post according to the eligibility criteria, candidates are expected to submit the following documents on or before Friday 8th December 2023 through the Head of service for Admission and Record.

A hand written application addressed to the vice chancellor, a defined color for the party, a list of candidates indicating their class, post, registration number and contacts. Photocopies of fees receipt and payment receipt of faculty dues for all the years and most importantly a non- refundable registration fee of 15000FCFA.
Candidates vying for the post of faculty association president after submitting their documents are required to carry out open campaigns on campus or which two minutes will be given for each party to present his/her manifesto. And their electoral college will be made up of departmental executives only.
It is worth noting that the student executive has the obligation to serve as a leison between the students and the administration
